3-D: 2nd semester freshman year

This was my first oil clay figure study he has a lot of detail in the muscles and is fairly well proportioned I was happy with how he turned out with the exception of his mean looking expression and a bit boxy thighs.

 Wire Gestures
This was one of the hardest assignments to do in the case of making all the figures balanced so close together and not topple over each other. I liked the balancing act though.

My second figure study of a woman who I think I captured her likeness pretty well but the legs are just a bit too long

 Sculpy!
This was the last and final project that I still adore just because I realized the glory that is super sculpy. I honestly regret ever making anything in regular firing clay.  I just like making to many unsteady sculptures and now ohh golly its a cheaper way then bronzing the thing and I like the results (given that this isn't the best picture) but wow I'm really impressed with the amount of detail that you can get out of the sculpy!

This was my first skeleton that I actually had as an assignment after the wire gestures and he was a bit loose and flimsy because I used steel tie wire instead of a sturdier kind of coat-hanger wire
